“Therefore, go and make disciples in all the nations, baptising them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and then teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you; and be sure of this—that I am with you always, even to the end of the world.”
Matthew 28:19–20
This scripture contains an urgency that is often overlooked today. “Therefore, go!” was taken to heart by the early disciples. Once they were filled with the Holy Spirit on the Day of Pentecost, nothing could stop them, because they believed their time was short. They had already been told they were in the end times, and believed Jesus could return at any moment. The signs of His imminent return are more visible than ever right now. Time is short. Therefore, we must go. And we must go now. It is the most important thing we can possibly do.
