John Lindell serves as the Lead Pastor of James River Church, a multi-site church with six campuses. Under his leadership, the church has experienced explosive growth and expansion.

John was born in Huntsville, Alabama, USA in 1967. He is married to Debbie, and for over 30 years, they have served together as the Lead Pastors of James River Church. The couple have 3 children, David, Brandon, and Savannah; and 8 grandchildren.
