Dr Jeremiah was born in Toledo, Ohio, USA in 1941. In 1981, he founded Shadow Mountain Community Church, where he served as the senior pastor for nearly 40 years. In 1982, David founded Turning Point Ministries, a media and outreach organisation that has reached millions of people worldwide.
David is married to Donna, and they have 4 children and 12 grandchildren. He lives in El Cajon in San Diego County, Southern California, which is where Turning Point Ministries is based.
