More About Doug Kaufmann
Doug Kaufmann is a Vietnam veteran. He returned home from Vietnam really unwell, thinking his condition was related to food allergies. Turns out it wasn’t. It was Jungle Rot, a skin condition caused by microorganisms, including mycobacterium.
This sparked a journey for Doug into taking better care of his health based on biblical principles. He changed his diet, and now encourages you to take control of your own health. Kaufmann helps you to understand that your body is just as important to God as your spirit, which is why Doug has served tirelessly as a Christian health advocate since 1998.
Doug’s honest approach to health helps you to understand that it’s not always a miracle from God that you need for your healing, it’s a commitment to a healthy lifestyle in partnership with God. Highly educational and informative, Doug’s show reaches 400+ million people across 200 nations from patients to physicians, providing medical insights that might have been missed, and changing lives.
Born in 1955 in Los Angeles, California, USA, Doug served in the US Marine Corps in Vietnam. He was trained in emergency medicine by the US Navy. Doug is married to Kimberly, and they live in Texas.
