MORE ABOUT DAVID HATHAWAY
A UK-based evangelist, David Hathaway has served in ministry for more than 70 years. His call to spread the Good News of the Gospel has seen him smuggle Bibles into Communist Russia and Eastern Europe up until he was jailed in Czechoslovakia (now Czechia) in 1972.
Undeterred, Hathaway continued to share the Word of God in prison up until he was released in 1973. Four days after his release, David was preaching at the Royal Albert Hall as part of an Easter Service.
David’s unrelenting determination to share the Gospel has grown into a worldwide ministry followed by millions. Through his TV ministry, Hathaway shares sermons and testimonies to get you engaged in the Gospel message.
Hathaway’s proactive teaching style draws you into the message of personal salvation and equips you to evangelise powerfully amid persecution.
A series of partnerships with local churches Christian organisations, and volunteers has enabled David Hathaway Ministries to reach more people, establish ongoing discipleship programmes, and provide ongoing support to new believers.
David was born in London, UK in 1932. He married Zena in April 1955, and the couple had three daughters: twins Carol and Sharon, and Mandy and they have 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandsons and 2 great-granddaughters. Zena was promoted to glory in 2014.
