Bishop John Francis founded Ruach City Church in 1994, starting with a small congregation of 18. Under his leadership, Ruach City Church has grown into a network of campuses across 3 locations attended by more than 6,000 people. It has become one of the most influential churches in London. 

Bishop Francis was born on the Caribbean Island of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in 1948. He is married to Penny, who is an integral part of his ministry, and the couple have three children.
