God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers. Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in the same way.

Our Father in Heaven, We come before you as One Church, One Voice and One Family, asking for you to be with us in times of persecution because of our faith in your son Jesus Christ.
We lift up to you our brothers and sisters facing extreme persecution in your name, all across the globe. Be with them in their hour of need. Be with them in their suffering.
We pray for the secret believers of this world. Bring them Hope, Grace and Peace Lord. Be their comfort and source of strength. We keep our eyes always on you Lord. With you at our right hand, we will not be shaken.
In the name of your son, and our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
