Angus Buchan

Shalom Ministries was founded in 1980, by Angus and Jill Buchan, in order to “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation” (Mark 16:15). The ministry holds annual events hosted by Angus that are attended by hundreds of thousands. Shalom Ministries also started the Beth-Hatlaim (House of the Lambs) Children’s Home and oversees the administration of the Halalisani Farm School. The school is run on Christian principles with approximately 200 pupils.


Angus Buchan

Angus Buchan is a farmer turned evangelist whose passionate faith is stirring up revival and helping to build nations. A well-known South African evangelist whose life story was captured in the film “Faith Like Potatoes”, Angus Buchan is recognized for his straightforward preaching.

Angus Buchan’s nationwide rallies draw hundreds of thousands to the events – saved and unsaved alike! The ever-popular Mighty Men’s Conference is an annual gathering of men from all over South Africa. Around 350,000 gathered at Angus’ Mighty Men’s Conference in 2010.
