Ravi Zacharias
(1946 – 2020)

Ravi Zacharias is the world-renowned Christian apologist known around the globe for defending the Christian faith. The host of Let My People Think on GOD TV, Ravi was also a featured speaker on many of our conferences and events and will be sorely missed by viewers. We ask the GOD TV family to pray for his wife Margaret and their three children, that they would be comforted by the Holy Spirit at this sad time.

Ravi was born in India in 1946 but lived most of his life in North America. As a teenager growing up in Delhi he became disillusioned and tried to take his own life. He found himself in hospital where he was given a Bible and discovered a new way of living in Jesus. Since then Ravi has been a powerful voice for God, challenging both atheists and those who believe in other gods.
In 1966 Ravi immigrated to Canada where he was educated and received a Master’s degree in Divinity. He founded Ravi Zacharias Ministries (RZIM) in 1984 as an evangelistic outreach to the ‘intellectually resistant”. Today RZIM has offices in many different countries. We celebrate all Ravi Zacharias Ministries has accomplished for God’s Kingdom and we know the mission will go on.
Ravi was the author of numerous books, including Can Man Live Without God? and A Shattered Visage: The Real Face of Atheism. He was also known for his quick-witted answers to impossible questions about the Christian faith. His teaching materials, books and TV series stand as an ongoing legacy.
