He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed.
(Isaiah 53:5)

As the world rallies against the coronavirus pandemic, we thank God that together we can bring a powerful message of hope to viewers across the nations. What a privilege it is to share that Jesus is our Great Deliverer, who paid the ultimate price for our salvation and through Him we have peace with God, the reassurance of eternal life and the promise of divine healing.

Thank you for standing with us to encourage those who feel isolated. We appreciate you joining us in intercession for those who have been infected and for your help in comforting the bereaved. We also appreciate all our partners who have sent in additional support to help us expand our media outreach to the world during this crisis.

It is wonderful to see the Body of Christ rising up to be the Hands and Feet of Jesus at this time. Of course, this month we also remember the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus and all that means for us as believers. So, I bring Easter / Passover Greetings to you and yours from all of us at GOD TV.

Jesus is our Passover Lamb. He died that we might live. Through the shedding of His blood our sins are forgiven and we can walk in the victory He secured for us. He is the same, yesterday, today and forever. His Word still stands no matter what. He will always be our Healer and provider. And, regardless of what we go through, He has promised to be our friend that stays closer than a brother.
As I think of the story of Passover in the Bible, I am reminded of how God instructed His people to cover the doorposts of their houses with the blood of a lamb as a sign of their faith in Him and His promise to deliver their household from the very worst kind of plague. How reassuring, that all who were obedient to this instruction were passed over. That is where the term Passover comes from.

Thankfully, today we no longer need to rely on the blood of animals for our redemption or our protection. We have the precious blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the Cross, which now covers the doorpost of our hearts and we can plead the blood of Jesus over loved ones, trusting in His divine protection.

Passover was a foreshadowing of the “once for all” sacrifice which Jesus offered on the Cross (Hebrews 7:27) and I just want to remind you of the significance of this ancient Bible feast and the relevance it has to us today. The blood of Christ has the power to atone for an infinite number of sins committed by an infinite number of people throughout the ages, and all whose faith rests in that blood will be saved.
For more teaching on this, please see my post on the Cross of Christ at:
He is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.

Only His blood can wash away our sin. He made it possible for us to become Children of God and because we are God’s children we are saved, healed and delivered.

This is the Good News we broadcast freely on GOD TV and which we will now share with the Jewish people in Hebrew all across Israel on Shelanu TV.

It’s significant that Passover dovetails with Easter this year. The Jewish people and our many Messianic friends will start to celebrate Pesach (Passover) on Wednesday April 8th and Good Friday will be marked by Christians all over the world on Friday April 10th followed by Resurrection Sunday on the 12th.

No matter how you celebrate, I trust this will be a time of great blessing to you and your family.

Friend, as I think of that first Easter Sunday morning when those first women of God came to the tomb, I am so excited to recall what the angel said to them. “He is not here, He is risen.” That is the glorious message we have to share with the world today. Our God is not dead. He is alive and He offers each person on earth a personal relationship with Him and He can breathe new life into any situation.
As we celebrate Easter / Passover let’s continue to be a source of strength for all who are on edge due to Coronavirus. Let’s stand together in faith and in prayer. Let’s intercede for all who are affected and continue to trust God for His divine protection and a quick end to this outbreak.

As GOD TV has shared on air, in our special programming, this is such a timely opportunity to share the Gospel and especially the resurrection life available to us in Jesus. Many, many people need to experience God’s healing power. We ask that “the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead would quicken their mortal bodies”.

For those who have experienced loss (for example of a job or business) we pray for God to breathe new life into their career, that they would know His resurrection power in such a powerful way.

As Jesus said:
I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though he may die, he shall live.
And whoever lives and believes in me shall never die.
(John 11:25)
We are here for you and we are praying for you. We understand in this time of uncertainty many of us are facing challenges. Let’s hang on to God’s Word in this time of crisis. I pray God’s Hedge of Protection over you and your family. That the Lord would set a wall of fire around you and give His angels charge over you.

Remember these words from Psalm 91: 5-7 which have often been quoted during this time. “You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.”

In my experience, God is always at work to bless us, even when it doesn’t seem like it. He who watches over Israel never slumbers nor sleeps and His angels are always working on our behalf. We can’t imagine what God has already saved us from this day. Know that His plans for you are good. As the song says: He is our ‘Way Maker, Miracle Worker and Promise Keeper.’ That is who He is.

My wife Lydia and all of us at GOD TV wish you a very blessed Easter. And, for all our Jewish friends we say ‘Chag Pesach Sameach!’ (Happy Passover).
May He give you and all of us supernatural strength to overcome the challenges we face.
May you know the presence of God more deeply in your life and never stop telling people about Jesus.

In His great love,

Ward Simpson

Despite uncertain times we know that it is the enemy that comes to kill, steal and destroy. That Jesus came to give us life and life more abundantly. That is not to say that we won’t have to deal with some difficulties but through the blood of Jesus we are overcomers.

Be encouraged as you meditate on these scriptures:
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
(John 16:33)
“The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord deliveres him from them all.”
(Psalm 34:19)
“The Lord will keep you from all harm. He will watch over your life.”
(Psalm 121:7)
