Rory & Wendy Alec are the founders of one of the world’s fastest-growing Christian networks, GOD TV, a dynamic media ministry, which airs more live programming from revival hotspots across the globe than any other broadcaster.

Birthed in the UK in 1995, GOD TV is now impacting more than 200 nations with several GOD TV channels, which are beamed free-to-air from Jerusalem, on a multiple satellite platform, to reach a potential viewing audience of nearly half a billion people.

The global GOD TV Network is the brainchild of innovative thinkers, apostolic prophetic ministers and television producers, Rory & Wendy Alec, who are bold media pioneers who God has used to change the face of faith-based broadcasting.

The remarkable story of how they overcame enormous obstacles by faith, to birth Christian television in Great Britain is nothing short of a miracle. Without finance, recognition or institutional backing, they launched the first daily Christian television network in Europe from their kitchen table in London in 1995. Since then, their fledgling network has expanded to become an international media phenomenon.

In 2001, the Lord impressed upon Rory & Wendy’s hearts to move GOD TV's broadcast headquarters to Israel, which facilitated the network’s rapid global expansion as the continents opened up to GOD TV. First came Africa and Asia / Middle East in 2002, then Australasia in 2005 and North America in 2006.

AFRICA: Today GOD TV broadcasts from Cape Town to Cairo via satellite and aims to build a terrestrial transmitter in capital cities across this vast continent. Three broadcast towers are already fully operational in Kenya. The GOD TV Africa office is situated in Cape Town, South Africa with an East Africa Regional Office in Nairobi, Kenya.

ASIA: In addition to GOD TV’s extensive satellite coverage across this vast region which now extends to Greater China, the network can be watched by millions of cable homes in India, Nepal, Sri-Lanka, Pakistan, Hong Kong and Macau. GOD TV has offices in Chennai, India, Sri-Lanka and Hong Kong, China.

MIDDLE EAST: GOD TV was one of the first international television channels to broadcast into Iraq and today its broadcasts extend across the Middle East from Iraq and Iran through to Saudi Arabia and Syria. GOD TV’s global transmission Centre is situated in the heart of Jerusalem, Israel.

AUSTRALASIA: GOD TV launched in Australia and New Zealand in 2005 and currently enjoys a growing viewership in this region.

NORTH AMERICA: GOD TV launched on the USA’s largest satellite platform, DIRECTV, in October 2006 and has since become available on select broadcast stations in different US cities. Following the phenomenal response from American viewers, other broadcast platforms are also currently being considered. GOD TV has studios in the US capital, Washington, DC and an office in Orlando, Florida.

EUROPE: GOD TV continues to maintain a strong presence in this region with offices in the UK, Germany and Scandinavia serving a rapidly growing European viewership on satellite and cable networks. Online viewership has also become increasingly popular as people tune in from across the globe to watch via webstreaming and GOD On Demand.

Many Christian networks have been founded by pastors or evangelists, but Rory & Wendy both have a wealth of global media experience with a background working in advertising and running their own television production facility. As a result, they are both acutely aware of how to reach today’s audiences through media as a strong apostolic, prophetic media team.

Rory was born in South Africa, while Wendy was born in England and grew up in Durban, where they married in 1987. The couple have two children, Samantha and Christian.

RORY ALEC

As GOD TV's chief executive, Rory travels the globe, taking the GOD Channel to the nations; envisioning and empowering GOD TV regional teams; spearheading GOD TV’s distribution into Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the Americas; breaking ground for new transmitters; filming regional updates; meeting with heads of state and government ministers; as well as overseeing new business development; creating GOD TV’s infrastructures and envisioning the world on TV in his revival reports and world updates with his heartfelt passion for one billion souls.

Rory’s zeal for souls translates beyond a media call into a passion for the deprived and underprivileged, which led to the formation of Angel Mission, GOD TV’s charity arm, which supports hospitals, feeding schemes and orphanages as well as financing water drilling rigs in arid regions of the world.

He is a natural exhorter with a strong preaching gift who will challenge you to go further with God and do more for His Kingdom. Called with a strong apostolic building anointing to the Media, Rory’s passion is to build GOD TV as a strong network, with a firm foundation, which will impact this and future generations.

WENDY ALEC

Called as a Prophet Evangelist to the media, Wendy is director of television at GOD TV and is responsible for the network’s unique programming, creative and artistic direction and the distinctive innovation of the GOD TV brand.

Her responsibilities include creating new TV visuals and idents with her creative services team; scripting shows; planning GOD TV schedules to miniscule detail with her vision team; creating and editing the GOD TV brand and promotions; commissioning conferences, GOD TV youth programming and evangelistic campaigns; seeking new anointings in the Body of Christ; and ensuring that GOD TV's content captures all that the Lord is saying to His Church in this critical hour.

Wendy is gifted with a remarkable prophetic voice and anointing with a passion for the Church and for media evangelism. She delivers a clear prophetic message to the Church, and her tremendous heart of mercy for the broken hearted and for lost souls translates both to television and through her ministry as an author.

She has written several books including: ‘Against all Odds’, which tells the extraordinary story of how GOD TV began; ‘The Journal of the Unknown Prophet’, a widely-acclaimed prophetic revelation of God's heart, purposes and plans; and the prophetic evangelistic series, ‘The Chronicles Of Brothers’; which includes ‘The Fall Of Lucifer’ and ‘Messiah’, both of which are available in the UK’s high streets.
