For the past decade Lou Engle and TheCall have inspired a new generation of prayer warriors worldwide as GOD TV has aired their mass gatherings LIVE from cities across the USA. Now comes TheCall Sacramento, direct from California on the GOD Channel this weekend.

Thousands of Christians will be gathering from all over the USA for an ‘Evening of Prophetic Worship’ at the Raley Field in Sacramento on Friday and for a ‘Joel 2 Solemn Assembly’ at the Sacramento Capitol Mall on Saturday. GOD TV will show both gatherings LIVE online at www.god.tv and they will be broadcast worldwide on the GOD Channel a day later.

The LIVE webcasts commence on Friday September 3 at 9 pm (EST) and on Saturday September 4 at 12pm (EST). The on air broadcasts start on Saturday September 4 at 7.30 pm (EST) and on Sunday September 5 at 6 pm (EST).

TheCall Sacramento marks TheCall’s 10th anniversary and commemorates its first mass gathering, held in Washington, D.C in the year 2000 when 400,000 young people gathered to fast and pray for America to return to its righteous roots.

“We are calling the consecrated ones to call upon God in the Day of Trouble,” said TheCall visionary and founder, Lou Engle, who has a passion to lead young adults into a lifestyle of radical prayer, fasting, and holiness. “We are praying for a new revolution of prayer, that will move the heart of God for this nation, for without Him there is no hope.”

The focus of TheCall is on Joel 2:15, which says: “Blow the trumpet in Zion! Consecrate a fast! Call a sacred assembly.” TheCall Sacramento therefore, is not a time of celebration, but a time of repentance, worship and intercession and the many musicians and speakers participating in the gathering are not being publicized.

“It is only through prayer and fasting that we will see revival come to America and the nations,” said GOD TV’s co-founder and director of television, Wendy Alec. “This weekend is a time for people everywhere to come together via the power of global television to consecrate themselves and cry out to the Lord to see spiritual breakthrough come to the USA as well as into their own lives and communities.”
