IHOP-KC revival continues on GOD TV
Media Release: JULY 21, 2010
International House of Prayer Student Awakening, plus Fascinate this weekend.
GOD TV has been broadcasting the move of God among students at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City (IHOP-KC) for many months and these exclusive broadcasts will continue throughout the summer. In addition, GOD TV will also air the Fascinate conference LIVE this weekend.
Founded by Mike Bickle, IHOP-KC is known worldwide for its dedication to night and day prayer and has been holding a non-stop prayer and worship meeting for the past 11 years - with intercessory teams working in shifts around the clock. IHOP-KC is also devoted to mobilizing a new generation of prayer warriors and passionate worshippers.
The IHOP Student Awakening began at the IHOP University last November and viewers have been amazed by the testimonies of people whose lives have been touched by God in different ways. There have been many reports of people experiencing supernatural healing and freedom from addictions. GOD TV viewers can watch the Awakening on Thursday evenings and Friday afternoons (EST) throughout July and August.
The annual Fascinate high school conference will be broadcast on GOD TV on Friday July 23 at 8.30pm (EST); on Saturday July 24 at 10.30pm; and on Sunday July 25 at 9pm. Focusing on Psalm 119:37, “Turn my eyes away from worthless things, preserve my life according to Your Word”, the conference aims to help young adults grow in intimacy with God.
“Fascinate is for a generation of young people who desire to live radical lives of holiness and devotion,” said Mike Bickle. “God is seeking those who will live their lives in wholehearted abandonment to Him, so that campuses and cities across the earth might be transformed.”
In addition to Mike Bickle, the speakers at Fascinate include Lou and Jesse Engle from TheCall; and Misty Edwards and David Sliker from IHOP-KC. Worship will be led by Matt Gilman and Cory Asbury, amongst others.
GOD TV also broadcasts The Prayer Room LIVE from IHOP-KC early each morning. This includes a time of worship, a teaching on prayer and intercession for the nations. Mike Bickle’s weekly series Passion for Jesus can be seen on GOD TV on Mondays at 9pm (EST).
“We share the same passion to see people come into a deeper relationship with God and I know these special broadcasts from IHOP-KC will help transform many, many lives,” said GOD TV Co-founder and Director of Television, Wendy Alec.
GOD TV can be viewed worldwide and all across the USA on channel 365 of DIRECTV as well as on select local cable stations in certain cities. Online viewers can watch at www.god.tv/live or at www.god.tv/video via video on demand.
