BAY REVIVAL CONTINUES ON GOD CHANNEL
Media Release: NOVEMBER 18, 2010
GOD TV is breaking with its regular schedule to air more broadcasts from the Bay of the Holy Spirit Revival in Mobile, AL, where miraculous healings are being witnessed.
Led by Pastor John Kilpatrick of the Church of His Presence and British Evangelist Nathan Morris of Shake the Nations, the Bay Revival has been running since July and has become known worldwide for supernatural healings. Among these is the now famous miracle of Delia Knox, who got out of her wheelchair after being paralyzed from the waist down for 22 years.
The wife of Bishop Levy Knox of Living Word Christian Center in Mobile, and a well-known Gospel artist, Delia shared her amazing testimony on the GOD Channel earlier this month, when GOD TV started airing the revival. Since then the network has received numerous e-mails from viewers all over the world, including many reports from people who have been healed while watching:
- “My husband’s hip was in agony but after watching GOD TV, and Delia Knox’s testimony, he is able to walk without pain! ” - Cindy, San Antonio, TX, USA.
- “I was very unwell with a viral illness as I watched the Bay of the Holy Spirit Revival, but after entering in with the worship, I was totally fine.” – Deirdre, Australia.
- “I had a terrible pain in my shoulder and while Nathan Morris was praying I got a funny sensation and the pain is gone.” – Theresa, Hermanus, South Africa.
The Bay Revival will continue on the GOD Channel for the next three weeks as follows: this weekend, Friday November 19 and Saturday 20; Friday through Sunday, November 26, 27 and 28; and Friday through Sunday, December 4, 5 and 6. The broadcasts are recorded LIVE and aired on the GOD Channel worldwide the following evening, enabling each region to watch at the same local time. Online viewers can watch LIVE at http://www.god.tv/liveevents. Hosted by Matthew Murray of Shake the Nations, the programs include worship led by Lydia Stanley of Church of His Presence.
Called after the original name given to Mobile Bay on early Spanish maps, ‘Bahía del Espíritu Santo’, (Bay of The Holy Spirit), the Revival began at the Church of His Presence in Daphne, AL and overflowed to the Mobile Convention Center in Mobile, AL. A new venue is being sought for when the Revival resumes after the Christmas break.
John Kilpatrick is the Revivalist who, along with Evangelist Steve Hill, led the Brownsville Revival in Pensacola. This featured regularly on the GOD Channel in the late 1990s and John believes what is happening in Mobile is a continuation of that revival which saw countless lives changed. “I’m seeing a level of miracles that I’ve never seen before in my lifetime”, he said.
“Salvation and healing go hand in hand and we have seen hundreds of people give their lives to Christ as they experience the power of God at work,” said Nathan Morris who is from Sheffield, England. “Miracles are continuing each night. The lame walk, the blind see, deaf ears open and terminal illnesses are healed. We invite viewers to watch and experience this for themselves.”
Wendy Alec, who is GOD TV’s Director of Television said the network was committed to broadcast revival as it happens across the globe. “It’s our heartfelt mission to take the Lord’s presence into people’s homes through our programming and we have had so many wonderful reports of this happening through the Bay Revival. The viewer response has been phenomenal and we know there is much more to come in the weeks ahead.”
