This four-part End-Time series brings the Rapture and Second Coming of Christ to life with gripping, action-packed cinematography. A powerful series of films, Thief in the Night unflinchingly portrays the consequences of facing eternity without Jesus Christ as Saviour.
 
The struggles of a select group of characters are played out as they face a dictatorship government system called UNITE (United Nations Imperium for Total Emergency).
 
"Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect." (Matthew 24:42-44)
 
Filmmaker Russell Doughten has produced many Christian films, but these four evangelistic movies are perhaps the most widely acclaimed End-Times films used to bring millions to Christ.
 
 
1. A Thief in the Night (1972)
Young and independent, Patty wakes up one morning to discover that her husband (a believer) has disappeared. When the radio news broadcast confirms that thousands have literally vanished from the earth, Patty realizes that this is the Rapture - and she has been left behind!
 
2. A Distant Thunder (1977)
End-Time Biblical prophecies are being fulfilled… the seven seal judgements break loose upon the earth. Patty is running scared, pursued by UNITE forces trying to ‘mark’ her or kill her if she refuses.
 
3. Image of the Beast (1980)
Forging a One World Government, the antichrist emerges forcing all people to be branded with the mark of the beast. Spectacular and terrifying judgements of God are poured out on the earth, while struggling survivors Kathy, David and Rev. Turner employ desperate tactics to escape being ‘marked’.
 
4. The Prodigal Planet (1983)
Amidst nuclear war, earthquakes and fires, the thriving antichrist empire begins to shake. With the Second Coming of Jesus Christ close at hand, David makes a tumultuous attempt to cross the US and link up with other underground Christians who are united in battling UNITE.
