How to Tune In - Africa

The GOD Channel's free-to-air signal is available via satellite throughout Africa enabling television viewers to experience anointed Christian programming completely free of charge.

The GOD Channel's dedicated Africa feed is broadcast 24-hours-a-day on two major satellites - Thaicom 3 across the continent of Africa and PAS 7 in Southern Africa which means that every TV owner in Africa, who has a dish and decoder, is able to watch the Channel. It also means that the GOD Channel signal can be easily pulled down and re-distributed via terrestrial transmitters to viewers in the most remote areas, who can pick up the Channel without a satellite decoder.

You can also watch GOD TV on your current decoder, just follow these steps for your type of decoder:

Multichoice Decoder

  • 1. Press MENU on remote.
  • 2. Go to ADVANCED OPTIONS - Press OK.
  • 3. Go to DISH INSTALLATIONS – Press OK.
  • 4. Enter PIN code: 9949.
  • 5. Go to (7) RESET TO FACTORY DEFAULTS – Press OK twice.
  • 6. Once scanning is complete, press MENU on remote.
  • 7. Go to ADVANCED OPTIONS – Press OK.
  • 8. Go to DISH INSTALLATIONS – Press OK.
  • 9. Enter PIN code: 9949.
  • 10. Go to NETWORK 2 then press the right arrow button until you see the OTHER option, press OK.
  • 11. Go down to FREQUENCY. Press OK and delete FREQUENCY using ‘left arrow’ key.
  • 12. Type in 12602.
  • 13. Go down to SYMBOL RATE and press OK. Change SYMBOL RATE to 26657.
  • 14. Change FEC to 2/3.
  • 15. Go to POLARIZATION. Select VERTICAL and press OK.
  • 16. Go down to (6) SCAN ALL NETWORKS – Press OK twice.
  • 17. Allow scanning to complete.

To watch GOD TV:

  • 1. Press the TV button on remote.
  • 2. Press the ‘up arrow’ button and find and select PUBLIC IS 7/10. Press OK.
  • 3. Press the P+ button on remote until you find the GOD CHANNEL.
  • 4. To get back to DStv, press the TV button on remote and select DStv.
Please note: No free to air channels are available on the new HD PVR

GOD TV on Roku

  • Go to https://owner.roku.com/Add/GODTV, log in to your Roku account, then click "Yes, Add Channel"
  • Open your Roku Box and the GOD TV Channel should appear within 24 hours.
