What a journey we’ve been on recently! We hope you were able to tune in for Partner Week and join Rory and the GOD TV team as they hiked from the Dead Sea to Mount Zion. It was so encouraging to hear what the Holy Spirit spoke to them each day of the trek.

There is nothing quite as imposing as staring straight up the face of a towering mountain. There is something about seeing a mountain in its entirety, standing directly before you, unmovable, seemingly larger than life that can strike awe, even fear in our hearts; and the spiritual mountains we face as Christians can seem even more daunting!

“but we are not of those who draw back…but of those who believe…” (Hebrews 10:39)

It seems simple enough – JUST BELIEVE! - but when we are facing TRUE adversity we can be tempted to stop believing in God’s goodness, to stop confessing His faithfulness, and to slip into spiritual apathy.

The guys’ trek during Partner Week was a perfect example of what it’s like to face a Mountain of Adversity; with the searing heat and exhausting conditions, it was a personal battle for each of the guys not to give up!

Precious saint, if you are facing a Mountain of Adversity in your life right now, and it is causing you to stumble, or to question the goodness of the Father, please open your heart and receive this word: HE is your rock of refuge, and fortress in adversity!

We must not forget the goodness and faithfulness of God in these difficult moments, but remember and confess it with our mouths, all the way to the top of the mountain!

Sometimes, what IS NOT happening can be just as frustrating. Oftentimes when there is a delay in receiving God’s promises, we can forget who He is, or deny the very promise He’s given us. If you are currently climbing this Mountain of Promise, then you may know exactly what I mean.

Abraham was given a promise that his descendants would be as many as the stars. This would be a difficult promise for anyone to believe, but believe he did, “and God accounted it to him for righteousness.” (Genesis 15:6).

Remembering and confessing who God is, is crucial to our walk with the Lord, and vital for maintaining the strength of our inner man. Therefore “…let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith…Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” (Hebrews 10:22-23)

Mountains of Adversity and Promise will continue to come and go, but for EVERY believer the Mountain of Intimacy is an ongoing climb, requiring our steady and consistent attention every day.

It’s on the Mountain of Intimacy that we discover and enjoy God as our Rock, our refuge. Intimacy with God is the foundation we build on, and it’s our heartfelt desire that through GOD TV our viewers would be equipped to build that sturdy foundation of an intimate relationship with Christ!

This relationship with Jesus is the very thing that we want to continue to present to the lost, and equip our brothers and sisters in Christ to nurture daily!

This is the GOOD NEWS that GOD TV broadcasts into 214 nations, over 190 million homes. That’s why it is vital that GOD TV is able to continue broadcasting life-giving, anointed programming into living rooms around the world – reconciling man, woman and child with God by the power of the Holy Spirit!

As you may have heard us say lately, to accomplish the fullness of what God has called us to, and to reach ONE BILLION SOULS, we need to establish a base of consistent monthly partners who will help us conquer our Mountain of Minutes.

The path up GOD TV’s Mountain of Minutes is clear; we need partners who will commit to giving SOMETHING EVERY MONTH, bringing us one step closer to the top!
